Like many of you I love taking photos, I often run around with my camera because its lens are my way to see things from other perspective. It does, however, sadden me that no one prints and puts photos in display. I mean, photos are images of our memories, no ? But there's a unique relationship with reality, a relationship which has little to do with 'truth', visual or otherwise, but everything to do with the emotional charge generated by the photograph's operation as a memory trace. Moreover, blogging and digital photography have changed the way we approach photography. It's so instantly gratifying that I often go three, four, five years without printing any photos at all. I have fewer and few photo albums in my home, so I decided to put to use some of them and did this :
Basically I used an embroidery hoop or another circle structure and some masking tape, layered the photos from behind and tape each photo to the hoop, left a small space on one part of the hoop to attach the hanging piece to.
