I'm a bit sick of hearing people call us the conformity generation. The truth is, every generation needs a new revolution, and I'm quoting Thomas Jefferson here. But no one is ever able to tell us how to fight, are we to be labelled conformists because we choose not to fight in a violent way ?
The new rebbelion is not hatred or destruction
The world around us is filled in these things already,
to fight the fire with a match
is only a step forward to get burned.
Rebellion is defiance,
in the way they cannot anticipate. We are expected to divide. We are expected to compete.
We are expected to accept the rules that benefit us
and ignore those they hurt.
But we will not.
Beyond cities, beyond countries-
this is a shift in thought. We are already breathing it, living it.
Fighting quietly against those who try to say
one human is better than another.
There must be a new beggining.
It is our time, it is our revolution.
